That Joy!

The joy of getting back what you lost is underrated.

Because most times, you don't know the value of it until it's gone.

And it's even worse when you know what to do to get it back. But you don't possess the level of brokenness required to seek it.

So you're wallowing in grief and self-pity until the day you finally gather that brokenness.

Then when you get what was lost again, the joy is overwhelming.

Try as much as possible not to lose things that are precious to you. Including those that do not seem precious.

I mean the littlest of things be it materialistic, relationships, or valuables.

You might not know their significance now, but the minute they're gone, you'll feel it sooner or later.
